Add a touch of warmth and mindful design to your space with the adorable T-Lab Polepole Polar Bear Cub. "Polepole" (pronounced poh-leh poh-leh) is the Swahili word for "slowly, slowly"—a beautiful reminder of the slow, deliberate craftsmanship behind every single piece. Designed by T-Lab in Japan, this sweet little bear cub brings an enchanting, minimalist charm to curated nurseries, children's playrooms, and contemporary adult interiors alike.
Every single cub is completely one-of-a-kind. Highly skilled master artisans in Bali hand-carve each figurine from solid, sustainably sourced Albizia Falcata wood, known for its remarkably lightweight feel and exceptionally smooth texture. The wood is meticulously hand-sanded multiple times to achieve an ultra-soft, unvarnished touch, before being delicately detailed by hand using non-toxic, vegetable-based paints.
Because no two animals are exactly alike, this polar bear cub makes a truly unique collector's piece or a thoughtful gift for design enthusiasts who appreciate slow-made, artisanal items.
